Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs use of OmegaEngine's services: the decision/governance APIs, the red-team and agent-scan tools, attestations, SDKs, and the website. It exists to keep the platform safe, lawful, and usable for everyone. It is part of our Terms of Service.

2. Authorized testing only

• You may only point OmegaEngine's adversarial tools (agent-scan, red-team assessments, fuzzing) at AI systems, agents, and prompts that you own, or that you have explicit written authorization to test.
• Submitting a third party's system for scanning without authorization is prohibited and grounds for immediate suspension.
• Attestations describe the configuration you submitted at the time of testing. Misrepresenting an attestation as covering a different system, configuration, or time period is prohibited.
• When you bring your own model API key (BYOK), you are responsible for complying with that provider's terms of service.

3. Prohibited uses

• Violating any applicable law or regulation, or infringing others' rights.
• Using the platform to generate, store, or distribute malware, or to plan or facilitate harm to people, systems, or data.
• Attempting to probe, compromise, or disrupt OmegaEngine's own infrastructure outside our published vulnerability disclosure process (see /security and /.well-known/security.txt).
• Circumventing rate limits, plan entitlements, access controls, or safety filters.
• Reselling or white-labeling scan results or attestations as your own certification of a third party without disclosure.
• Submitting content you have no right to process, including personal data without a lawful basis.

4. High-stakes use

OmegaEngine provides decision support and adversarial evidence — not professional advice. Do not rely on it as the sole control for decisions affecting human safety, medical care, legal rights, or financial solvency, and do not use it for emergency response. Human review of high-risk decisions is your responsibility.

5. Fair use of the API

Free and demo endpoints are rate-limited per IP and per account. Automated use is welcome — including by AI agents — within published rate limits and plan quotas. Don't distribute load across identities to evade limits.

6. Enforcement

We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access for AUP violations, with notice where practicable. Where a violation involves unauthorized testing of a third party's system, we may also notify the affected party. Report suspected abuse to legal@omegaengine.ai.

7. Changes

We may update this AUP as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on the changelog, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
